Liz Mooney is a New York-based retoucher. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Illustration, Liz spent several years working alongside the top retouchers and creators in the industry before founding her own freelance retouching business.

In her retouching practice, Liz focuses on collaborative relationships that emphasize the creative process of retouching and look development. Trained as a draftsman and oil painter, Liz brings an intimate knowledge of anatomy, color, and light to her work. Her background allows her to be an artistic partner as well as an exceptional retoucher.

Liz works hard to bring her clients’ visions to life and lift each image to its highest potential. She is always delighted to lend her skills to new projects and forge lasting relationships. While she can deliver stunning results in any situation, Liz is passionate about inclusivity in media. To that end, she prioritizes diverse creators and work featuring people of color, the disabled, and the non-binary.

Liz is available world-wide for on-set, local, and remote retouching work.
